First Responders & Veterans

Veterans

Mt. Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery is deeply committed to honoring all veterans and their families. We have dedicated plots specifically for veterans and their significant others, providing a place of respect and remembrance for those who served our country.
To further honor our veterans, we have placed a monument, a flag and ledgers that in the near future will include the names of veterans not interred in the dedicated veterans’ section. This ensures that all veterans resting in our cemetery are remembered and celebrated for their service and sacrifice.
To all veterans, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice in preserving America’s freedom. To the families of our veterans, we thank you for your unwavering support and sacrifices made alongside your loved ones.
Every year, on the Saturday before Veteran’s Day at 11:00 am, we hold a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the service and sacrifices of all veterans.

First Responders

Mt. Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery also proudly honors all first responders and their families. We have dedicated plots for the first responder and their significant others as a lasting tribute to their service and dedication.
In recognition of their contributions, we have erected a monument and included ledgers that in the near future will include the names of first responders not interred in the dedicated first responders section. This serves as a testament to their bravery and commitment to protecting our communities.
To all first responders, we express our deepest gratitude for your time, bravery, and sacrifice in safeguarding our towns, cities, and states. To the families of first responders, we thank you for your strength and support, which allows your loved ones to serve selflessly.
Your efforts ensure the safety and well-being of all, and for that, we are forever grateful.
